I love Music, music has been a big part of my life. Both my father, and his father were guitarist, and good ones at that. I have a different love, not for strings, but for woodwinds. Since i began Band in the 6th grade, I've played an assortment of instruments. I've played an Alto Saxophone, a tenor Saxophone, a baritone Saxophone, an Oboe, an accordion, xylophone, and i want to learn the piano. I've fallen in love with Saxophones of all types, i currently play the baritone sax, and i love it. Being in band has opened my eyes.. well ears. From a listener of music, to a player. Playing has taught me a lot about the structure of any musical piece, and its wonderful. It has givin me an appreciation for music i did not have, it has also givin me a second family, for us all band members, we are family. We support each other, musically and in some cases, emotionally.
